Montana’s BBQ & Bar on Bank Street offers a casual, full-service dining experience centered around hearty, North American-style BBQ and comfort food. The atmosphere leans toward relaxed and family-friendly, making it a solid pick for groups ranging from casual lunch outings to laid-back dinners with friends or family. The décor and seating arrangements cater to those who want a straightforward, unpretentious spot to enjoy familiar favorites without fuss.

The menu is anchored by barbecue classics and elevated pub fare, with highlights like ribs, wings, and a variety of steak options, including a 10 oz AAA striploin. Beyond proteins, the kitchen balances indulgent dishes with shareable starters like the Four Cheese Spinach Dip—a reliable crowd-pleaser served with crispy pita and nacho chips. The Chipotle Firecracker Burger and Chicken Burrito Bowl bring some spice and variety for those wanting something a little different. The “All You Can Eat Ribs” offer a draw for people who come hungry and want their money’s worth.

Montana’s also stands out for its approachable combos, such as the Rib & Wing Combo or the Steak Combo for two, making it a spot well-suited for sharing plates and casual communal dining. For dessert, simple but satisfying choices like the Triple Layer Chocolate Cake or Shake N Share Donuts wrap up meals on a sweet note without veering too far from classic comfort territory.

The vibe inside tends to be easygoing, although some past visitors have mentioned that the temperature can run on the cooler side, which could affect the overall comfort level if you prefer a warmer setting. The staff, particularly at the bar, receive consistent positive mentions for their friendly and attentive service, adding a welcoming layer to the experience. This is a place where bartenders like Sheila make a real impression, suggesting the bar component is worth trying alongside your meal.

Given the menu’s emphasis and the setting, Montana’s works best for local families, groups of friends, and casual diners who appreciate BBQ-style cooking with straightforward service. Weekends and early evenings are good bets to soak in the relaxed pace without feeling rushed. While it might not be the spot for those craving delicate or fine dining, it holds its own as a dependable neighborhood joint for filling plates and solid drinks on Bank Street.

A little too cold inside. Overheard other customers complaining. Food was good, ribs not very meaty but ok. Sweet potato fries were very good and frozen strawberry daiquiri was good.

It's a relaxed place. I came here for lunch with my family and ordered the beer-battered fish & chips, which were very satisfying. It was served with seasoned fries, and tartar sauce. It all made an enjoyable meal. The others ordered a creamy mac & cheese and a spicy chicken burger. The burger was apparently extra spicy. There were no bad things to say about any of the food though. We came when it was slower and, after ordering, our food took around 10 minutes to be ready. The waitresses were really friendly and had great attentiveness. The room was a little bit chilly, but apart from that I would say it was a very good place to sit down for lunch.

Don’t normally come to Montana’s, but I will definitely be back to this one. Sheila at the bar was wonderful, kind, welcoming, and makes a great drink. This is the kind of staff that ensure people are always returning customers. They are lucky to have her!

We just had a fantastic meal at Montana’s South Keys. I had the vegetarian tacos, they were great! I usually struggle with options at a place like this. Sheila was wonderful with her suggestions. And my wife had the burnt end taco and a shrimp taco. Which she really enjoyed. We usually walk away from restaurants saying our cooking is better and we should have ate at home, but this was outstanding. Thanks for a great experience.

Cory was great! Super friendly and service was quick. Spinach dip is always a highlight. We’ll be back soon.

Came here for lunch with my wife and my aunt. My wife's steak was not cooked correctly but they did correct the error on request. The fish and chips were good. The service was great and the atmosphere was nice. We had no difficulty carrying on a conversation.
